Baramulla Earthquake: Double Quake Leaves Valley in Panic| Damage Reported| Watch Video

Two earthquakes, measuring 4.7 and 4.8 on the Richter scale, struck Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning.

Both quakes had their epicenter in Baramulla, occurring minutes apart and at depths of 5 and 10 kilometers respectively.

The tremors caused panic but no immediate damage was reported.

The region falls in high-risk seismic zones, with the Kashmir valley in Zone-V, the highest risk category.
